The Atomic Development Rowing Program is catered to student-athletes between the ages of 13-17 who are brand new to the sport of rowing. No experience is necessary to join!
In this program, our coaching staff will teach the fundamentals of the rowing stroke, training principles, and developing good habits in preparation for our high school varsity team. Developmental rowers will have the opportunity to learn and develop at their own pace with their peers who are also new to the sport while earning the opportunity to represent Atomic Rowing in competition at the state, regional, and national levels in both the Fall and Spring seasons.

All New Rowers can have a three-day Trial period before registering for the season.
First-season Rowers do not have an ORRA Membership requirement. All returning rowers who began in the previous season must become ORRA members for the following season(s). Note: there is a volunteer hour requirement for all rowers. Please contact info@orra.org with questions.

Atomic Rowing’s Varsity is a competitive team, aimed at improving competitive skills and performance in rowing to earn the opportunity to represent Atomic Rowing at the state, regional, and national levels. Our program is selective, and rowing experience and a commitment to the team is required.
We train for and row in competitive regattas in both the Fall and Spring seasons. Winter training focuses on improving rowing fundamentals, developing physical fitness, and increasing athlete performance.
